Remember: News and Media organisations are trying to sell their product to stay in business. We are going through an incredibly slow news cycle, so they are all focussing on the only thing in town - the COVID-19 virus.

COVID-19 has thus far killed only 2 elderly people with underlying health conditions in my country's population of ~70,000,000 people. More people died yesterday from knife crime in this country. Do you see the same hysteria about that? Are we banning knives? No. Be sensible.

The only place to get unbiased facts and advice, including travel advice, is via the WHO website.

Their Situation Dashboard has the evolving picture.

They also have a great Myth Busters page.
